Let’s pretend (or not) that you’ve got a small business, and you want folders which anyone in your small business can access, making collaborating much easier. You can easily set up a folder to share with anyone on your network to accomplish this. Folders can be shared wireless or wired (ethernet).
Folder sharing is not limited to small (or large) businesses. You can also set up a shared folder at home to share family photos, music, and more with anyone who lives there, wirelessly.
You will always have to leave the computer that is sharing the folder on. Otherwise, other computers won’t be able to access the files.
