An 8086 Assembly Language Tutorial Using MS Debug.

Please read…

Available in high-quality here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uq23gP1Fw60&fmt=18

In this well-explained video tutorial, you will learn how to make a simple beeper in 8086 assembly language. It uses a small program already installed on your computer called debug.exe.

Everything I’ve done is very well explained, so there shouldn’t be many questions, although please feel free to comment any way, and you’d do me a big favour by rating the video or subscribing to my channel as well.

I didn’t think so much could explain a few lines of code.

The three text files I used to explain things are available here in a ZIP file(video notes not included): http://louixthecowboy.googlepages.com/ASM_Tut_1_Info_Notes.zip

Thank you very much for watching my first assembly language tutorial, I hope you’ll like it.

If you have any questions, send me a PM or ask in the comments.

The music is called La Femme d’Argent by Air.

If you’re using Windows 98, you’d want to know what’s different in XP. But before we move on to the differences between the two operating systems, we should tell you that Microsoft withdrew support for Windows 98 a long time ago! It’s true that there were initial hardware and software compatibility issues when XP was first released on October 25th 2001—that’s why people took Read the rest of this entry »

If people had ever doubted that Windows would dominate the OS scene, Windows 95 removed that doubt. It came with better networking support, better device support, and it was better looking than any other version of Windows before it. But just like Windows 3.1 and before, it ran on MS-DOS. The user interface for Windows 95 was its most ground-breaking aspect. The new ‘Start’ button gave users a one-stop solution to access programs. Read the rest of this entry »

Windows 3.0

After the first faltering steps, Windows gained huge popularity in its third version, released in May 1990. It came with a prettier 16-color interface, and new technical bells and whistles that let it make better use of the memory management capabilities that Intel had put in its 286 and 386 processors. Even if you had a lesser processor than the 286, Windows 3.0 would still support it, albeit without added features such as virtual memory. Windows 3.0 was faster than the previous versions, and finally asserted the PC as a worthy competitor to the Apple Macintosh. Read the rest of this entry »
