I managed to install Windows 7 Pre-Beta .6956, the current newest and most stable edition on the web. IT works perfectly, runs faster than Mac OSX and Windows Vista. All Mac DVD bootcamp drivers work, if you use this patch: http://techiemusings.typepad.com/tech…

And the newest Realtek drivers if you have a Realtek sound card.

Every other app works and games run smooth too. Please download the newest drivers for your computer to ensure stability and speed. This installation should work on PC’s too if you find all the windows vista drivers.

LicenseCrawler Finds Your Product Keys for You

LicenseCrawler Finds Your Product Keys for You

I recently misplaced my Microsoft Office product key and I needed to move it from one system to another. I couldnt remember how to find the product key (I know they changed where they put it these days), so I did a Google search. In the process of looking, I found this very useful tool, which crawls your system for product keys. It works and I want to share it with you.

Faster XP Pro boot

Another highly optimized XP Pro install.

I created this to serve as the base for a POS system for the company I work for. Just running a POS app within a totally fire walled VLAN doesn’t need allot of fancy features.

How to Get/Install the Vista Sidebar on Windows XP (Audio voice)

First subscribe to this guy

http://www.youtube.com/user/cheatsocom

And now heres the link for the sidebar

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FC0UKJK9

Install the “msxml6.msi” Application. If you have Service Pack 3 for Windows XP. You don’t need to install it, Incase you did automatic updates it updated you with the newest one.

After that install the “alky_1.1_trunk_032308-000051_xp.msi” Application And than after installing it.

Install the sidebar, Open up the folder that says “THE SIDEBAR” In Caps Lock, And find a Notepad icon with a Ratch Circle or it should say “Sidebar”.

Just right click on it and click on “Install”

It should show “Do you want to install the Windows Sidebar?”

Click on of course “Yes”

And you should see it transferring the files. Wait till it’s done and it should ask

“Congratulations the Windows Sidebar was installed Successfully. Please Reboot your computer”

Reboot your computer and when you log in your account it should automatically show the Windows Sidebar when you log on.

There you go you have it. But one thing if you wanna Add Gadgets it won’t really work you have to install the

“GadgetInstallersetup” Close the Sidebar by going to the bottom left of the things that are running right click on it and click on “Close”

And install the Gadgetinstaller. And click on the little + sign at the top right of the sidebar. And A small window should pop up and look on the bottom right of it. It should show a Globe and saying

“Get more Gadgets online” click on it and it should take you to it’s site.

Search whatever you want and add some. Some Might not work. I don’t really know. Maybe all of them work. I haven’t download each one lol.

Weird XP installation

Damn weird stuff happened during my XP installation.

It might’ve been my VGA card, because the first time i booted this newly build pc from old stuff, it gave AGP error boot beepNOISES! damn loud too!
Never happened anymore, now the PC runs fine with my antique Geforce 2 TI and Nforce 2 Ultra 400 motherboard. Even the installation of XP went perfect even though it was hard to see.
