This video will show you how to run GTA IV on a pc without SP3.
Instructions:
Click Start
Click Run
Type: regedit
Click ok/Hit Enter
Click File - Export - Name - Click Save
Double Click: HKEY_LoCAL_MACHINE
Double Click: SYSTEM
Double Click: CurrentControlSet
Scroll down to: Windows
Click Windows
Right Click: CSDVersion
Left Click Modify
Change from 200 to 300
Click ok
Close Registry Editor
Click Start
Right Click My Computer
Left Click Properties
It should say Windows XP SP3*
Close Window and install game
*If it says SP2 reboot and check again

http://cbgfilms.tumblr.com - SMCFanControl is a really easy to use application for adjusting the different fan speeds on your mac, and the great thing is, the fans do not reset once you restart your system, only shutdown. Which means you could restart the system into boot camp and have your adjusted fan speeds.
This works great, as my iMac gets really hot when playing GTAIV in WinXP boot camp!

K So First of all i had to change my alias from 5gtM1k3 (every possible alpha-numeric version was taken -_-) to Knyht.
Secondly this video is a long one, it’s GTA, what do you expect?
Third… Yes i was using cheats. I beat the game w/o them (except the VERY last mission where I had to kill Dimetri. I didn’t kill him when I had the chance… I was cheap and took the money =)
