This is a video to show the boot time of windows xp compared to an earlier video with vista,

The System is AMD Turion tL-64 2.2 ghz with 3 GB ram and a 250 GB fujitsu harddrive.

No tweaks or optimisations of any kind, 60+ processes at boot, 200+ programs installed, boots in under a minute, and is usable as soon as the desktop shows pretty much..

Not to bad for a £500 system. Hopefully soon Apple Mac will start selling systems of this kind of specification for lower prices. Or allow people to purchase OSX on its own to install on any computer.

READ - Sorry for the poor quality my phone is rather old now and it was the only camera i had at hand so don’t complain i will make another once i re-format (though that could be Vista or Windows 7 depending when i decided to do this.)

This was edited on my mac afterwards - iMovie because i couldnt be arsed to open Final Cut Pro for a short vid + im still learning the program.

My PC is also VERY bloated it hasnt been formated or looked after very well for that matter and here are the specs just incase you missed them

Just bought fraps was just playing about haha, please dont leave comments like noob and stuff because i wasnt really playing prperly just messing about.

Random laggy areas in video are down to windows media player encoding video badly :/ Because there not there in the original file. but thats too big to upload (3.6 gb)

This is a video to all those mac fanboys who try to claim that vista sucks, is unstable, boots slow and what ever other claims.

This is windows vista 3 months after being installed, 60 processes at boot, no stability problems, never had a virus, boots in under a minute
