Windows is user friendly DOS is not. Where word user friendly comes there is no guarantee towards security.

I’ve always been curious about Windows 1.0. I want to download it, just for the sake of booting my computer with it. Just once. But, it seems impossible to find it.

That was a blast from the past!

I remember running dos on my 286, and being overwhelmed when I first got windows, it was such a difference, and thinking back, windows has become something entirely different.
