This video will show you how to run GTA IV on a pc without SP3.
Instructions:
Click Start
Click Run
Type: regedit
Click ok/Hit Enter
Click File - Export - Name - Click Save
Double Click: HKEY_LoCAL_MACHINE
Double Click: SYSTEM
Double Click: CurrentControlSet
Scroll down to: Windows
Click Windows
Right Click: CSDVersion
Left Click Modify
Change from 200 to 300
Click ok
Close Registry Editor
Click Start
Right Click My Computer
Left Click Properties
It should say Windows XP SP3*
Close Window and install game
*If it says SP2 reboot and check again
