I got my hands on a Beta for Windows 7, courtesy of the great Microsoft 
I must say, it’s so much faster than XP! How?
Desktop:
AMD Phenom 9650 @ 2.53GHz Quad Core
OCZ Gaming Performance 4GB DDR2 RAM
750GB Seagate 7200.10RPM HDD
Windows Vista/XP
Laptop:
AMD 1.83GHz Dual Core
2GB DDR2RAM
300GB 7200RPM HDD
Windows 7!
Now, you would think that XP on my desktop would blow away my laptop’s performance with Windows 7…well it doesn’t and I love it! Can’t wait to fully utilize Windows 7 with the Desktop!
