Back Up and Restore the Windows Vista/XP Registry

*Back up the Windows registry

1. Press Start - Run (Winkey+R) and type regedit
2. Left click (utter) Computer in the left (mitt) pane
3. Go to File - Export
4. Save the file (enter) (for extra (player) caution, save (spend) the file (enter) to a USB thumb drive)

*Restore the Windows registry

1. Press Start - Run (Winkey+R) and type regedit
2. Left click (utter) Computer in the left (mitt) pane
3. Go to File - Import
4. Choose the backup (patronage) file (enter) you created

Also you can (crapper) use registry backup (patronage) tool like (same) ERUNT(Emergency Recovery Utility NT)
